Warehouse Maintenance Tech

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities.
• Performs general electrical and/or repairs of and various equipment on company premises.
• Conducts periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.
• Maintains all equipment necessary to perform work.
• Prepares for operations by obtaining work schedule and daily production paperwork.
• Performs daily safety checks.
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps maintenance area orderly and clean as required.
• Secures all equipment and completes all necessary reports and paperwork at the end of the shift.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift, carry, and position up to 30 lbs.
• Frequently lift, carry, and position up to 65 lbs.
• Occasionally lift, carry, and position up to 100 lbs.

Compensation

Pay is $19.50 an hour.
