Duties And Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily logistics operations to support safe, timely, and accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
  • Participate in shipping and receiving responsibilities while coordinating team priorities, workload, and resources.
  • Lead, assist in training, and coach logistics team members while providing clear direction, feedback, and day-to-day support.
  • Act as a hands-on working supervisor by directly assisting with shipping, receiving, picking, staging, and other warehouse activities as needed.
  • Oversee inbound receiving, outbound shipping, warehouse organization, and material handling activities.
  • Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately, and support cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled warehouse and staging areas.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate priorities to support on-time delivery commitments.
  • Prepare, verify, and process shipping and receiving documentation and help resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Partner with Operations Manager, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Order Management to resolve issues and maintain flow.
  • Promote compliance with company procedures, safety expectations, and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, shipping/receiving, materials management, or supply chain operations, including prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with ERP, inventory, shipping, or warehouse management systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well across functions.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and disciplined process execution in a hands-on warehouse setting.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on commitments.
  • Flexibility to support off-hours, overtime, or schedule changes when required by business needs.
  • A customer-focused mindset and a positive, team-oriented leadership approach.
