About the role
We are seeking an ambitious Warehouse Logistics Supervisor to join our innovative and hard-working team. Acting as the front-line of communication, our mission is to provide peace of mind for our partners by anticipating and understanding the needs of their business or organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, staging, storage, and outbound shipments of client inventory such as media players, monitors, displays, and accessories.
- Follow outlined configuration steps to successfully provision media players and other electronic equipment prior to outbound shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts within our Warehouse Management System (WMS) through regular cycle counts, audits, and adjustments.
- Ensure product is handled, staged, and packaged to meet installation quality standards.
- Maintain sufficient stock of packaging supplies for any day-to-day or project-based needs.
- Keep the warehouse area free of dust and packing debris; ensuring clean working quarters at all times.
- Implement and improve warehouse layouts, processes, safety, and health standards.
- Coordinate warehouse activities (ex: receiving, provisioning, shipment preparation) to align with installation timelines provided by Snap Install Operations staff.
- Maintain shipping & receiving records and documentation in line with Company policies.
- Manage relationships with shipping carriers (e.g., LTL, parcel, freight providers) to ensure cost-effective, reliable, and on-time delivery.
- Monitor performance of carriers, resolve shipping/delivery issues, request quotes and negotiate rates or service levels as needed.
- Make financially responsible decisions related to shipping, carriers, and warehouse consumables—evaluating costs, verifying accuracy of invoices, and ensuring value for spend.
- Update and document common processes and procedures including, but not limited to: manual tasks, data entry within the WMS, and usage of the scanners.
- Track and report on KPIs such as shipment accuracy, inventory reconciliation, and turnaround times.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce errors, increase speed, and enhance visibility for internal teams.
- Maintain ownership of all day-to-day warehouse and logistics functions.
- Responsible for the daily oversight and training of warehouse staff to support operational needs.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Enforce OSHA and Company safety standards within the warehouse environment.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Two or more years of warehouse and/or logistics management experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Experience in technology or electronics handling is preferred.
- Experience in project management and/or logistics is preferred.
- Lean or continuous improvement training is preferred.
- Proficiency with WMS, ERP, or inventory management software is required.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets & Microsoft Excel is required.
