Warehouse Loader

About the role

A warehouse loader ensures products are moved within the warehouse safely and efficiently, performing loading/unloading of route trucks manually or by forklift operation. This position reports to the Akron, OH location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse standards are upheld by working in a safe and professional manner
• Load and unload route delivery trucks and tractor trailers by hand and forklift
• Palletize products for loading
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks
• Handle products with proper care and storage to maintain inventory accuracy
• Maintain good housekeeping and warehouse standards
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Move delivery trucks for loading/unloading and perform truck refueling
• Handle administrative tasks such as bay mapping, inventory counts, and damaged product tracking
• Allow housekeeping entry during scheduled times

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (no major offenses in the last 3 years)
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs. during the work shift
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Warehouse or forklift experience preferred, but training is available for new associates

Pay

$20/hour with a 6%–8% shift differential for applicable hours worked.

Schedule

Sunday–Thursday (Fridays dependent on business needs), starting at 11 PM until work is completed. Some travel between locations may be required.
