Warehouse Loader

About the role

A warehouse loader ensures products are moved within the warehouse safely and efficiently, performing loading/unloading of route trucks manually or by forklift operation. This position is based in Somerset, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse standards are upheld by working in a safe and professional manner
• Load and unload route delivery trucks and tractor trailers by hand and forklift
• Palletize products for loading
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks
• Handle products with care through proper handling and storage
• Ensure inventory is properly maintained
• Maintain good housekeeping and warehouse standards
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Move delivery trucks for loading/unloading and perform truck refueling
• Handle administrative tasks such as bay mapping, inventory tasks, damaged product counts, and coordinating housekeeping entry

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (no major offenses in the last 3 years)
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs. during the work shift
• Must meet physical demands including sitting, standing, walking, lifting, stooping, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Warehouse or forklift experience preferred, but training is available for new associates
• Strong English language skills for effective communication with customers and team members

Pay

$24.00 per hour (paid weekly)

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM until workload is complete (weekends dependent on business needs)
