Warehouse Lead

This full-time, onsite Warehouse Lead role is based in Dania Beach, FL, working Monday–Friday, 5:00 am–1:30 pm.

About the Role

Williams‑Sonoma, Inc. operates a large, agile distribution network across the U.S., including furniture and small‑parcel DCs, manufacturing facilities, and a global sourcing organization. The Warehouse Lead in Dania Beach helps maintain consistent inventory flow, directs a team of associates, and supports daily operational goals in a safety‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Run and scrub various reports to keep consistent inventory flow for day‑to‑day operations
• Collaborate with other departments and facilities via email or phone communication
• Train, direct, and lead a team of associates to achieve operational goals
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by communicating safety topics, conducting audits, and promoting awareness in all tasks
• Track productivity, coordinate team assignments, and prioritize/control workflow through floor presence to ensure deadlines are met
• Assist in leading daily start‑up meetings; communicate daily/weekly goals, successes, opportunities for improvement, and best practices
• Share business information with teammates through floor presence; suggest improvements to current techniques
• Research and resolve issues; provide feedback on productivity and quality performance to teammates, peers, and manager using departmental resources
• Assist manager with planning and implementation of departmental standards and goals
• Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment
• Keep work area safe, organized, and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements daily

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in distribution, manufacturing, or retail environments (or 5 years of progressive work experience in lieu of industry experience)
• At least 1 year previous forklift driving experience
• At least 2 years’ experience with warehouse management systems
• Excellent PKMS (or equivalent WMS) knowledge including handheld, truck‑mount, and desktop
• Advanced MS Office proficiency: Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong decision‑making, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask, be a team player, and possess research skills
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner
• Flexible to work overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing
• At least 4 years of supervisory experience in distribution or manufacturing environment
• At least 2 years’ working knowledge of MS Access

Physical Requirements

• Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs/ladders
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable walking/standing 90% of the day

Pay

Proposed salary range: $21.00–$25.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 5:00 am–1:30 pm (full‑time, non‑exempt).
