Responsibilities
- Train and provide work direction to assigned Warehouse Associates.
- Maximize productivity through proper training and supervision.
- Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by physically checking them.
- Maintain records, files, and reports related to warehouse operations.
- Check products for defects and accuracy.
- Pull, pack, and ship finished goods.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles.
- Inspect machinery to determine repair needs and perform regular maintenance.
- Unload materials and merchandise, stacking them in assigned places.
- Pull orders from shelves, place and secure them onto pallets.
- Communicate with managers to identify equipment needing maintenance.
- Ensure safety measures are followed at all times.
- Maintain clean and properly stored tools and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Help maintain a safe and orderly warehouse environment.
- May have key and security access and oversee the building at times.
Requirements
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements.
- At least two years of experience in delivery, warehousing, receiving, issuing, packing, shipping, and/or storage of goods strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools.
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
- Able to work overtime.
- Able to read and understand safety instructions.
- Small engine repair and maintenance skills preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to complete forklift training.
- Forklift experience and license preferred.
Pay
$25-$27 hourly.
