Warehouse Lead
Job Summary
DeBra-Kuempel is seeking to fill a Warehouse Lead position. This role supports field crews by coordinating materials, tools, and equipment to ensure jobs are properly staged, delivered, and supported.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform daily warehouse and shop operations to support field activities, including maintaining cleanliness, organization of materials and tools, and operational readiness.
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for job sites by verifying accuracy against purchase orders, job numbers, and delivery requirements.
- Load, unload, stage, and move materials and equipment for delivery to jobsites or internal use.
- Pick up materials and supplies from vendors and suppliers as required to support operations.
- Accurately receive, document, and track inbound and outbound materials, ensuring required records and paperwork are completed and submitted.
- Operate company vehicles on an occasional basis to deliver or retrieve materials in compliance with company policies and applicable safety and DOT requirements.
- Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure materials are properly secured during transport.
- Store, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment when not in use.
- Maintain inventory levels in the warehouse and shop and communicate material shortages or replenishment needs to appropriate personnel.
- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment; training and certification provided as required.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks and general warehouse or shop support duties as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with field personnel, internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to support efficient and timely operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and current DOT Medical Card preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Experience operating forklifts, trailers, or other material-handling equipment preferred (training provided if needed).
- Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to safety, organization, and accuracy.
- Self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to assist in a variety of warehouse and shop tasks as operational needs require.

The noise level in the field work environment is usually moderate to loud.
