Warehouse Lead

Job Summary

DeBra-Kuempel is seeking to fill a Warehouse Lead position. This role supports field crews by coordinating materials, tools, and equipment to ensure jobs are properly staged, delivered, and supported.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform daily warehouse and shop operations to support field activities, including maintaining cleanliness, organization of materials and tools, and operational readiness.
• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for job sites by verifying accuracy against purchase orders, job numbers, and delivery requirements.
• Load, unload, stage, and move materials and equipment for delivery to jobsites or internal use.
• Pick up materials and supplies from vendors and suppliers as required to support operations.
• Accurately receive, document, and track inbound and outbound materials, ensuring required records and paperwork are completed and submitted.
• Operate company vehicles on an occasional basis to deliver or retrieve materials in compliance with company policies and applicable safety and DOT requirements.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure materials are properly secured during transport.
• Store, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment when not in use.
• Maintain inventory levels in the warehouse and shop and communicate material shortages or replenishment needs to appropriate personnel.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment; training and certification provided as required.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and general warehouse or shop support duties as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with field personnel, internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to support efficient and timely operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and current DOT Medical Card preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Experience operating forklifts, trailers, or other material-handling equipment preferred (training provided if needed).
• Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to safety, organization, and accuracy.
• Self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to assist in a variety of warehouse and shop tasks as operational needs require.

While visiting field locations, the employee may be required to work outdoors, be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical and electrical parts; high, precarious places; dust, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions, extended exposure to sunlight; cold and heat; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the field work environment is usually moderate to loud.
