Warehouse Lead

Essential Duties

• Review production schedule and work orders for the day
• Assure all moveable stock (PIT’s) are in working condition and escalate work orders for items that need to be repaired
• Prints daily expeditor sheets and communicates to team on what is to be executed for the day
• Helps facilitate continuous change while implementing new projects and tools
• Verifies scrap levels and reports daily
• Reports to supervisor
• Maintains work area to ensure Hörmann policies and procedures are followed
• Affirm quality standards are met for finished products
• Escalates items that need QC or supervisorial attention

Essential Job Skills And Experience

• Education/experience: Any combination of education providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
• Typical qualifications would be: High School Diploma or GED. 2 -3 years of specific or transferable experience required
• Previous lead and warehouse experience preferred but not required

• Ability to lead others

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Able to multi-task
• Able to lift less than 50lbs without assistance and more than 50lbs using a team-lift
• Able to solve problems and be a positive team member
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Good hand-eye coordination

Physical Environment/Working Conditions

• Standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day
• Grasping and fine manipulation on both hands
• The warehouse is not climate controlled and will require the employee to dress appropriately
• In addition the work is done in an area where moving mechanical machinery, parts or vibration are

$25.00 - $30.00/hr
