Responsibilities
- Carries out the Company's organizational values and operating in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.
- Provides leadership to the team through effective communications, coaching, appraising, and recognizing.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Continuously promotes safety (accident review and improvement opportunities).
- Ensures that work is available for operators and completes tasks on time.
- Directs flow of material, either inbound or outbound.
- Gives direction to Forklift Operators or Warehouse Associates to move resources to available work.
- Covers in absence of Warehouse Supervisor when needed.
- Coordinates with fleet dispatch on schedule changes, cancellations, etc.
- Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
