Warehouse Lead

Position Summary

We are a global leader in food & beverage ingredients. The Warehouse Lead reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for coordinating warehouse and shipping operations. This role involves guiding and directing employees, managing performance, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Position Responsibilities

• Guide and direct the work assignments of shipping and receiving employees.
• Execute activities to achieve departmental objectives and support business strategy.
• Maintain and ensure effective communication with the Warehouse Manager and other department leaders.
• Partner with Quality to ensure compliance with Quality Systems and GMP rules.
• Monitor and manage KPIs to sustain and improve operation areas.
• Perform accident investigations and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist with training and ongoing development of department staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in food Processing, Engineering, Food Science, or Business Administration preferred.
• Five (5) years of equivalent experience in operation or warehouse management, or three to five (5) years of progressive management experience.
• Proven ability to effectively manage and train teams.
• Strong computer competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bilingual, English and Spanish, preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure with competing demands in a team environment.
