About the role

Lead and support the communication flow to load finished product onto trailers and prepare documentation (bill of lading and invoice).

Responsibilities

• Ability to complete all essential functions of the Warehouse Associate position
• Lead a group of shipping and receiving team members
• Responsible for communication flow to load finished product onto trailers
• Communicate instructions to equipment operators inside the warehouse
• Coordinate the location where each trailer will be loaded
• Prepare documentation to issue a purchase order (Bill of Lading and invoice)
• Communicate with carriers to ensure on-time collection and/or loading of finished product
• Review operator and carrier line data in the Tracking Platform
• Ensure food safety practices and all applicable SQF System requirements are maintained
• Communicate any deviations, problems, or abnormalities with equipment, processes, and products
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management, provided they are reasonable and safe

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position
• Minimum 4 years of experience managing people or projects (may include a combination of work experience and education)
• No travel required for this position
• Preferred: 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment

Skills

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Oracle
• Intermediate knowledge of storage systems

Education

• Minimum: High School Diploma
• Preferred: Associate's Degree

Pay

Hourly pay range: $24.86 - $32.94
