Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Ability to complete all essential functions of the Warehouse Associate position
• Lead a group of shipping and receiving team members
• Responsible for the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers
• Communicate instructions to equipment operators inside the warehouse
• Coordinate the location where each trailer will be loaded
• Prepare documentation to issue a purchase order (Bill of Lading and invoice)
• Communicate with carriers to ensure on-time and proper collection and/or loading of the finished product
• Review operator and carrier line data in the Tracking Platform
• Ensure that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained
• Communicate any deviation, problem, or abnormality with equipment, processes, and products
• Perform any other reasonable task requested by a manager or supervisor

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
• 4+ years of experience in a similar position
• 4+ years of experience managing people or projects (may include a combination of work experience and education)
• No travel required for this position

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
• 6+ years of experience working in a similar position
• 6+ years of experience managing people or projects (may include a combination of work experience and education)
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Oracle, and storage systems
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate with different levels of the organization
• Conflict resolution skills
• Ability to analyze information

Education

• Minimum Required: High School Diploma
• Preferred: Associate's Degree
