Warehouse Lead

Job Duties

• Leads the Receiving and in-store operations to ensure achievement of business goals in expenses, payroll, inventory shrinkage and Associate morale
• Leads receiving in training, assists in action plans to improve performance and ensures daily execution
• Ensures the customer load-out process is completed safely, accurately, and with great customer service
• Ensures the delivery-load out and return process is executed accurately and safely with approved delivery vendors
• Trains associates on proper handling procedures to avoid damaging inventory and to keep associates injury-free
• Leads receiving and merchandising of inventory throughout the unit
• Prices products per American Freight pricing guidelines and leads efforts in unit's achievement of improved margins and cost recovery
• Adheres to operational processes (i.e., receiving, replenishment, shipping) and ensures consistency and performance standards are met
• Ensures that the store adheres to safety policies and procedures
• Serves as a key carrier and accepts overall 4 wall accountabilities
• May Interact with customers and associates to address their concerns
• Affords assistance with store tasks including unloading trucks, loading customer vehicles, & moving products on the sales floor
• Performs duties including routing, staging, and customer contact
• Maintains facilities and housekeeping
• Understands and communicates activities/trends in unit and unique local issues to management
• Performs other duties as assigned
