Warehouse Inventory Specialist

About the role

Meyer Distributing is a complete wholesale distributor serving automotive, RV/towing, outdoor living, marine, and other markets. With 85+ locations nationwide, Meyer services dealers across the country. Meyer Logistics, the transportation arm of Meyer Distributing, operates a fleet of 500+ top-of-the-line trucks.

Responsibilities

• Locate inventory that is on the warehouse site but not in the correct location
• Handle all details associated with inventory transfers
• Perform cycle counts
• Manage stock adjustments and returns
• Communicate with warehouse lead and logistics to determine the most efficient way to deliver/return items to vendors
• Receive and approve vendor credit invoices
• Research discrepancies
• Investigate receiving and invoice issues

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse experience and ability to operate a forklift or man lift preferred
• Minimum of one month of on-the-job training required

$21.00 per hour
