Role Responsibilities

  • Cycle Count Inventory
  • Conduct ongoing cycle counts throughout the 6 month assignment to verify quantities and correct discrepancies.
  • Update Inventory System
  • Enter missing parts, update descriptions, correct quantities, and ensure all part data is complete and accurate.
  • Parts Room Organization
  • Reorganize shelves, label parts, and maintain a clean, efficient storage layout.
  • Process Excess Parts
  • Identify excess or misplaced parts located outside the parts room and determine what should be returned to inventory.
  • SHELVING & STOCKING
  • Place excess or newly identified parts onto the correct shelves following company standards.
  • Documentation Cleanup
  • Over the 6 month period ensure all part descriptions, categories, and locations are fully updated and standardized.
  • Support Inventory Audit
  • Assist with mid assignment and end of assignment inventory checks to confirm improvements.
  • Assist Staff
  • Help technicians and team members locate parts and answer questions about availability.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar type of role.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PC programs.
  • Experience with CMMS (nice to have).
  • Experience with mechanical and consumable parts inventory procedures.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 - 60 lbs.
  • Standing pallet jack experience (nice to have).
  • Forklift certification (nice to have).
