Role Responsibilities
- Cycle Count Inventory
- Conduct ongoing cycle counts throughout the 6 month assignment to verify quantities and correct discrepancies.
- Update Inventory System
- Enter missing parts, update descriptions, correct quantities, and ensure all part data is complete and accurate.
- Parts Room Organization
- Reorganize shelves, label parts, and maintain a clean, efficient storage layout.
- Process Excess Parts
- Identify excess or misplaced parts located outside the parts room and determine what should be returned to inventory.
- SHELVING & STOCKING
- Place excess or newly identified parts onto the correct shelves following company standards.
- Documentation Cleanup
- Over the 6 month period ensure all part descriptions, categories, and locations are fully updated and standardized.
- Support Inventory Audit
- Assist with mid assignment and end of assignment inventory checks to confirm improvements.
- Assist Staff
- Help technicians and team members locate parts and answer questions about availability.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a similar type of role.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft PC programs.
- Experience with CMMS (nice to have).
- Experience with mechanical and consumable parts inventory procedures.
- Be able to lift up to 50 - 60 lbs.
- Standing pallet jack experience (nice to have).
- Forklift certification (nice to have).
