About the role
The Inventory Control Clerk I plays a crucial role in ensuring that all products are in stock and ready for distribution in the warehouse. They maintain accurate inventory levels, collaborate with internal teammates to understand customer demands, and file claims for defective goods.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate inventory levels and ensures availability for use.
- Works with internal teammates to understand customer demands and needs.
- Fills claims for defective goods as discovered.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 or more years of work experience, preferably in the distribution industry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office systems.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
- Ability to understand work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
