Warehouse/Internal Logistics Supervisor
About the role
This position reports to: Warehouse Manager
Responsibilities
- Optimizing warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization
- Safeguarding and supervising daily warehouse and shipping operations
- Coding and preparing proper receipt/dispatch paperwork
- Maintaining equipment and facilities, and identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements
- Recommend measures to improve service quality, increase departmental efficiency, and boost the performance of work crews and equipment
- Ensuring stock accuracy by conducting periodic stock takes and/or cycle counts
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of manufacturing production supervisory experience required
- Attention to detail, time efficiency, and utilization of manpower
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and understanding of an ERP system, SAP highly preferred
