About the role
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
- Handle daily paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Able to work within a diverse work environment.
- Punctual and has a good attendance record.
- Possesses a high degree of initiative.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work using health and safety methods.
Skills

- Available to work on a flexible schedule on various shifts.

- Weekly pay up to $26 per hour (including productivity incentives).
- Base pay: $23.00 per hour. 50% increase after 6 months and 1 year.
- Overtime pay: $34.50 per hour.

Pay

Schedule
Day shift: B: Wed-Sat 4:30am - 4:00pm OR B: Wed-Sat 5:30am - 5:00pm
- 44-55 hours per week.
- 11-hour shift.
- 2-month schedule given in advance for family planning.
