About the role
Ryder is hiring Sit-down Forklift Operators in Princeton, Kentucky. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Auditing, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
- Dealing with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
- Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
- A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- An ability to work within a diverse work environment.
- A high degree of accuracy, even under pressure.
- Able to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to work using health and safety methods.
- Able to work on a flexible schedule on various shifts.
- Able to perform tasks within performance measurement guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.

Pay
Weekly pay at $18.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for overtime.
Schedule
D Shift: Wednesday 12:00 am - 6:00 am & Thursday - Saturday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am.
