Warehouse Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions
• Navigate and correct potential process errors before they impact customers
• Identify and address damaged products at every stage of warehousing
• Pull and stage orders accurately and according to carrier specifications
• Verify and document product quantities and locations throughout the logistics process
• Aware of and adhere to location and work center safety and security policies
• Train others in various warehouse functions, including powered industrial lift operation
• Perform housekeeping duties and other tasks as assigned
• Operate fork-lift equipment and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Basic reading, math, and communication skills in English
• Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures

Qualifications

• Ability to operate sit-down forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passing a drug test and background check may be required

Pay

• $21.00 per hour base pay
• Overtime pay at $31.50 per hour
• Shift differential of $1.00 per hour

Schedule

• Second shift
• Monday through Friday
• 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
