Warehouse Forklift Operator

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Conyers, GA. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Work in a clean, organized, and well-run facility to ensure the safest supply chain environment.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Support the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong technical aptitude, including using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to work both indoors and outside.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to meet Ryder's driving qualifications.

• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Punctual and good attendance record.
• Possesses a high degree of initiative.
• Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Skills

• Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Scanners.
• Enter orders into a WMS System.

Pay

Hourly Pay: $17.39 per hour.

Schedule

Monday-Friday: 7:00am-3:30pm.
