Warehouse Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift

About the role

The Receiving Equipment Operator is responsible for accurately putting away product in the designated locations throughout the Distribution Center. Operators utilize a cherry picker style lift and RF scanners to complete their duties.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Cherry Picker lift up to 40 ft. in the air.
• Utilize RF scanners to identify and locate product.
• Load staged product from dock area onto cherry picker lift.
• Move product from lift into proper location on the storage racks.
• Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals.

• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse environment.
• Must have experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Comfortable with heights up to 40 ft. in the air.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including availability for weekends as needed.
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading, and writing.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Skills

• General understanding of warehouse or distribution center operations.
• Safely and efficiently operate forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.

Physical Demands

• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push, and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
• Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product: 90%
• Sitting: 5%
• Desk or phone work: 5%

Pay

Starting hourly pay at $20.00 - $22.00/hour (based on experience).
