Safariland Warehouse Forklift Driver
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Safely operated forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Loaded and unloaded inbound and outbound trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Stocked shelves and placed inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Organized and maintained warehouse storage areas to ensure accessibility and cleanliness.
- Built, banded, shrunk-wrapped, and secured pallets for shipment.
- Aided in creating products and preparing materials for transportation.
- Moved raw materials and finished goods to and from production lines as needed.
- Verified product quantities and inspected shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Followed inventory control procedures and assisted with cycle counts when required.
- Maintained a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhered to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Performed other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
- Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
- Experience loading/unloading trucks and handling palletized freight.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic problem-solving skills and a positive work ethic.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally to move objects.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Warehouse organization and inventory management experience.
- Experience banding pallets, creating shipments, and preparing freight for transport.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to quality work.
- Able to identify and resolve routine warehouse issues efficiently.
