Warehouse Forklift Driver

Job Summary

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience driving a forklift, and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors under various conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload materials utilizing forklifts
  • Receive incoming materials from vendors, verify quantity for accuracy, description, amounts, and complete appropriate paperwork
  • Order picking, will call orders, assisting in loading customer’s vehicles with materials, reporting problems, deliveries, service issues, etc.
  • Absorb inventory as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience driving a forklift
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Pass a company required drug test; employees are subject to random substance abuse screening under company policy
  • U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred

  • Previous material handling experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds of material continually

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
