About the role

As a Warehouse/Driver Hybrid, you will provide warehouse support including picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping, and receiving of orders to meet the facility’s productivity and quality goals. You will also transport product and inventory to our local facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
  • Sort and break down product by SKU, quantity, and product type.
  • Operate electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift.
  • Effectively communicate with receivers, drivers, driver check-in, and forklift operators.
  • Adhere to proper safety practices for truck and trailer pull process daily.
  • Sort and store goods in designated warehouse areas.
  • Handle all company-issued equipment, including PPE and voice equipment, responsibly.
  • Report all safety concerns in the work environment promptly.
  • Wear the company-issued uniform.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or move orders to the loading dock for shipping.
  • Label pallets with identifying information when instructed.
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers as necessary.
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
