About the Role
Responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, quality aspects, and handling of finished goods in a warehouse environment. This role emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

- Maintain proper ergonomics when performing assigned tasks.
- Meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as Amcor standards.
- Meet daily production goals and departmental objectives as directed.
- Clean assigned work areas, return tools to proper storage, and report malfunctioning equipment. Apply Good Manufacturing Practices to meet plant goals and report daily on Master Cleaning Schedule.
- Direct all non-conforming parts to the appropriate reprocess area.
- Maintain standard production objectives through proper machine operation and accurately record production. Communicate production information at shift change.
- Maintain proper radio etiquette when using company radios, PA system, and/or phone for business use only.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Loading Specific Functions
- Complete QA dig outs and return requests.
- Perform basic dunnage sort, stack, and count procedures.
- Perform Receiving Functions:
- Record defects on appropriate forms during inbound receiving (MTP form FCD 3036, Receiving Checklist FCD 0207).
- Verify receipt items and quantity of inbound shipments.
- Inspect incoming materials according to SOP-0002 & FCD 0207.
- Perform Shipping Functions:
- Create Pick Sheet.
- Transfer information and print BOLs.
- Scan to delivery using RF unit.
- Navigate forklift computer/MII to access shipping screens.
- Transfer finished goods to staging or storage areas.
- Load finished goods onto trucks in a timely manner to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Accurately complete all written logs and data input, including closing sequences on tickets and printing bill of lading.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and notify lead/supervisor of discrepancies.
- Remove/rework damaged products on pallets.
- Load/unload dunnage trailers.
- Unload performs and sort into proper area.
- Load pallets and plastic onto trailers or other transportation vehicles.
- Move raw material as directed.
- Complete proper paperwork for incoming/outgoing materials.
Conveyor Specific Functions
- Perform all duties related to dunnage: sort, inspect, select, discard materials as required.
- Perform daily operational check of forklift and clean as needed.
- Supply production operations with raw materials to produce finished product.
- Accurately complete all written logs related to customer MTP returns.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and notify lead/supervisor of discrepancies.
- Remove/rework damaged product on pallets.
- Maintain a clean work area and perform general housekeeping duties on Master Cleaning Schedule.
- Perform cycle counts as needed.
- Load/unload dunnage trailers.
- Load pallets and plastic onto trailers or other transportation vehicles.
- Move raw material as directed.
- Scan FG from all departments into warehouse location.
- Complete proper paperwork for incoming/outgoing MTP.
Raw Materials Specific Functions
- Complete QA dig outs and return requests.
- Perform basic dunnage sort, stack, and count procedures.
- Perform pallet inspections.
- Perform Receiving Functions:
- Record inbound receiving defects.
- Complete receiving checklist.
- Inspect incoming material.
- Verify receipt items and quantity of inbound shipments.
- Create pick sheets.
- Transfer information and print BOLs.
- Scan to delivery using RF unit.
- Fix/scrap returning warehouse damaged finished goods.
- Operate within MII system (queries, entries, look-ups).
- Unload Railcars/Hopper trucks.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and notify lead/supervisor of discrepancies.
- Remove/rework damaged products on pallets.
- Unload performs and sort into proper area.
- Move raw material as directed.
- Perform FG and Scrap Tagging as needed.
- Maintain dumpsters and perform scrap ticketing as needed.
- Complete shipping documents as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing and warehouse environment is required.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- Experience with scan guns is preferred.
- Experience with GMP preferred.
