Warehouse Dispatcher
About the role
The Warehouse Clerk's primary responsibility is to pick, pack, and ship finished goods to customers in a warehouse environment. They must assist department management in achieving daily goals, including picking, packing, maintaining inventory accuracy, keeping the work environment clean and safe, and meeting shipping requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the efficient operation of warehousing by understanding and performing related functions and procedures.
- Train and direct other personnel in their duties, both clerical and physical.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
- Occasionally perform warehouse driver duties, cross-trained in multiple areas of warehouse operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Understand principles of stock rotation and material storage.
- Awareness of storage conditions to protect materials from damage or deterioration.
- Ability to lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a team environment.
- Fast-paced work environment and ability to multi-task.
- Able to follow directions closely and complete tasks efficiently.
