Warehouse Dispatcher

About the role

Reviewing and distributing work orders to Shipping Floor conferring with Shipping Supervisor to determine progress of work and completion times.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch tickets to floor on a daily basis.
• Maintain dispatch log for accuracy.
• Invoicing process including, tripping, logging and ship confirm.
• Dock assistance; driving, wrapping, banding and tagging skids.
• Assist UPS; pull orders as needed.
• Pull Freight orders as needed.
• Assist Customer Service Technicians as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

• Critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Computer experience with MS Office

Position Qualifications

• Education: HS graduate or equivalent required
• Experience: 1+ years of prior warehouse shipping experience
• Experience In Shipping Scheduling Environment Preferred

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Activity
  • Constantly - 6+ hours: Stand, Walk, Twist/Turn, Stoop/Bend, Squat, Kneel
  • Repetitively – 6 + hours: Lift to 75 lbs., team lift up to 110 lbs.
  • Occasionally - 1 to 6 hrs.: Reach above shoulders.
• Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
