Tire Rack is seeking a Warehouse Department Supervisor to join their Distribution Center team in Sparks, Nevada. Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations within an assigned warehouse department, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Supervise, coach, train, and develop warehouse associates while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Assign work, establish priorities, and adjust staffing to meet daily production goals.
- Monitor workflow and communicate department progress and operational updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and standard operating procedures.
- Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure products are handled, inspected, and processed according to company standards.
- Manage inventory accuracy within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including inventory tracking, returns processing, and stock reconciliation.
- Identify operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with management to implement corrective actions.
- Partner with other departments to improve communication and streamline warehouse operations.
- Lead department meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and operational updates.
- Ensure material handling equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.
- Support the onboarding and development of new team members.
- Provide recommendations regarding temporary-to-full-time employee transitions.
- Report department performance metrics and operational trends while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience, including demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
- Experience supervising, coaching, motivating, and developing warehouse associates.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage inventory, shipments, returns, and operational workflows.
- Ability to identify operational challenges, develop solutions, and implement process improvements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused work environment.

Pay
- $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
- Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours per week, between 600 AM and 600 PM, with additional hours as business needs require.
