Warehouse Customer Support Representative

This part-time Warehouse/Customer Support Representative role is based in Reno, NV and involves working alongside Sales Associates, Designers, and the Store Manager as part of a high-performing team to support La-Z-Boy stores in Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and unbox products to La-Z-Boy specifications.
• Review product against paperwork to check for order completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in loading and unloading furniture and accessories on and off trucks, including operating power equipment occasionally.
• Occasionally move up to 350 pounds using a two-wheel dolly.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Scan furniture when receiving, moving, or loading into the computer system.
• Receive returned furniture from delivery trucks and place it in the correct locations.
• Ensure all product sent back to the vendor is properly packaged with corresponding paperwork attached.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, including product prep, reuse or recycling of revenue commodities, 5S responsibilities, attending required training, and committee participation.

Requirements

• Dependable and punctual.
• Team player and self-starter with the ability to work independently after training.
• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions.
• 0-2 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior distribution center/warehouse or furniture experience.
• OSHA Certification.

Pay

$16.50 per hour (Base Compensation Range: $14.24 - $21.52 per hour).

Schedule

25 hours per week (part-time).
