Warehouse Customer Service Pickup Associate (Will Call Counter Clerk)

About the role

The Warehouse Customer Service Pickup Associate (Will Call Counter Clerk) position is available at Würth Baer Supply Company's Distribution Center in Bensenville, IL. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Würth Group, a globally recognized leader in the specialty wholesale distribution sector.

Responsibilities

• Looking up customer information in the computer
• Interacting face-to-face with customers arriving at the warehouse facility to pick up their orders
• Aiding with warehouse picking and packing duties
• Contacting customers via phone as needed and handing them their orders
• Performing inventory counts to ensure product quantity accuracy
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
• Assisting with other tasks during downtime as needed

Qualifications

• High School diploma and previous customer service experience
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn new systems
• Experience looking up information in a warehouse management system (WMS)
• Must have at least some kind of experience looking up information in a warehouse management system (WMS)
• Woodworking experience/knowledge helpful
• Comfortable with warehouse work and assisting customers
