About the role
As a Warehouse Inventory Coordinator at Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in managing warehouse inventory, maintaining system accuracy, and coordinating day-to-day warehouse operations. This role supports safe and efficient material movement by overseeing scheduling, documentation, load preparation, and system troubleshooting. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and confident working in SAP and warehouse systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and promote health and safety work practices in accordance with regulatory agencies and company policy.
- Maintain weekly warehouse team member schedules to support operational coverage.
- Identify and build loads for material that can be stored outside directly off the mills.
- Maintain daily warehouse documentation including mobile equipment inspections, scanner/device log sheets, and daily safety checklists.
- Troubleshoot and correct SAP shipping-related issues to support timely and accurate shipments.
- Manage and order weekly warehouse dunnage requirements.
- Submit purchase requisitions for warehouse needs.
- Partner with load build teams to ensure loads are built correctly to fit trailers safely and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance as an essential function of the role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical degree preferred.
- Work-related experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, and MES.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of production procedures and warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform physical tasks required in a warehouse and manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, and handling materials as needed.
- Ability to work safely around moving equipment and in areas with industrial hazards.

Pay
Below is the expected base hourly range for this position. This is a good-faith estimate, and offers will be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and interview performance.
