Responsibilities
- Direct patient contact to ascertain supply needs as designated by the clinician and establish relationships with clients.
- Communicate supply needs to appropriate personnel and document accordingly.
- Generate patient orders in the system and coordinate shipping schedules.
- Collaborate with nurses and pharmacists to ensure availability of patient supplies and confirm deliveries.
- Purchase all supplies for inventory, adhering to correct purchasing procedures and sourcing cost-effective products as directed by clinicians and company contracts.
- Minimize freight costs for ordered and shipped products.
- Maintain accurate inventory, resolve discrepancies, and participate in physical inventory counts.
- Implement inventory control measures and establish minimum order quantity amounts.
- Monitor equipment tracking and maintenance, obtaining cost-effective rental equipment when needed.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of patient and proprietary company information in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in assessing, managing, and reporting medication-related incidents and equipment errors/failures; complete QAR forms accurately.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities if required.
- Accept additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience communicating verbally (phone, one-on-one) and in writing (emails, letters, reports) to various audiences, including workgroups, teams, management, and external vendors.
- Basic PC skills (e.g., starting/shutting down a computer, using a mouse, navigating programs, saving files, printing, accessing information online).
- Basic email and internet skills (sending, receiving, and organizing communications).
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time for business purposes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or delivery setting.
Pay
Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment. Pay range: $18.17–$30.27 per hour.
