Position Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator who will report to the Warehouse Supervisor. The primary responsibility is to ensure production requests are fulfilled timely and accurately. They will oversee and assign work to ensure a balanced workload and efficient processing of work orders, interacting with various departments across multiple shifts to ensure continuous production.
Position Responsibilities
- Maintain real-time communications with other Operations department leaders ensuring problem-free operations in Warehouse, Maintenance and Facilities.
- Ensure applicable warehouse processes are followed.
- Operate a forklift as needed.
- Ensure all Company policies and procedures are followed.
- Oversee the transportation of raw materials/packages between warehouses.
- Track key performance indicators (KPI’s), identifying areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize operations.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations regarding occupational health and food safety.
- Assign tasks and work orders to warehouse team members.
- Maintain daily shipping and receiving schedule.
- Timely communicate any product shortages.
- Monitor the warehouse to ensure product is being moved safely, timely and efficiently.
- Oversee and ensure all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) are adhered to.
- Make recommendations on process improvements that promote employee safety and maximize efficiency of the warehouse.
- Maintain satisfactory attendance to include timeliness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- A high school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate is required.
- One (1) year of warehouse, shipping or production experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in the use of PLEX & SAP at a basic level.
- Skilled in the use of MS office at a basic level.
- Strong process orientation, attention to detail skills required.
- Ability to multi-task within a progressive organization.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
- Ability to work multiple shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay for this role in the state of CA is $20.00-$28.00/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Benefits may vary based on location.
