Responsibilities
- Maintains standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
- Maintains housekeeping of warehouse.
- Ensures the workplace health and safety requirements are met, takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock, and runs shift with safety and efficiency as priorities.
- Purchases
- Ensures quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met.
- Responds to field communication, locates vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interviews them to determine product availability and sales terms.
- Administers on-line purchasing systems.
- Prepares and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Tools, Fleet, & Inventory
- Maintains records of goods ordered and received, log all rentals into the rental log and follow up with foreman on status.
- Manages stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry into system.
- Issues inventory report, in/out status report, dead stock report, goods age report, and consumption report.
- Returns all materials not required on a project or that were delivered incorrectly.
- Responsible for tool inventory and control:
- Tool transfers log in/out form, clean up, maintenance and repair of tools
- Updates and maintains inventory tool list, delivery of tools to the jobsite.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Education / Training: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with HVAC and/or Refrigeration concepts.
- Forklift operating experience/certification *REQUIRED*
- Work Experience / Skills: Excellent documentation and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task effectively. Strong analytical skills and detail oriented. Ability to organize and prioritize your own work schedule and the work schedules of others on a short-term basis. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws. Ability to use typical business tools including E-Mail, Word, Excel, etc.
