Responsible for entering, tracking, and analyzing all product and associated materials, and serving as the point of contact for all warehouse shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Support daily distribution and processing of reports and other correspondence as directed by Manager
- Maintain and update equipment and product tracking log
- Manage all electronic receipts of equipment/product upon arrival
- Oversee warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Enter all receiving purchase order information and virtual shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for all assigned inventory
- Pull inventory for order prep, pre-fabrication, and staging on project pallets
- Coordinate and manage the maintenance of equipment
- Answer incoming calls and email queries; assist customers, clients, and vendors as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or inventory experience
- Experience with UPS, FedEx shipping, tracking, and receiving (international shipping preferred)
- Must pass and complete internal forklift certification
- Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company driving standards
Skills
- Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic math while analyzing data and generating reports
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications such as MS Word and Excel
- Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues at all levels
- Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills
Working Environment
This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
Physical Requirements
- Requires sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to squat occasionally
- Ability to use ladders up to 20 feet frequently
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery
This position requires constant use of OSHA-approved footwear, following current company policy for company subsidy toward initial cost.
Pay
Hourly rate between $26.93/hr and $34.62/hr.
