Warehouse Clerk Operations Technician First Shift

About the role

Ryder is hiring an Operations Clerk in Franklin, Indiana. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive career environment.

Responsibilities

• Aid in maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Create and update daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers to set appointments and update load statuses.
• Collaborate with the Operations Supervisor to distribute workloads evenly through WMS management.
• Work with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve issues with daily orders.
• Interact with customers to inform them of order changes and updates.
• Manage various Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience (equipment certification may be required based on location).

Qualifications

Must pass additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Skills

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel), working knowledge of WMS systems, forklift experience, and equipment certification (depending on location).

Pay

$22.00 per hour.

Schedule

First Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.
