Warehouse Clerk - 2nd Shift Receiving

About the role

The primary function of the Receiving Clerk is to facilitate the process of product management through a system of perpetual inventory. This is accomplished through the resolution of inventory discrepancies and education of personnel resulting in improved inventory integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a radio frequency (RF) gun to scan merchandise
  • Operate various equipment including cherry pickers
  • Substantial product familiarity and identification
  • Perform inventory adjustments and reconciliation of physical, documented, and electronic items
  • Perform research as necessary to resolve discrepancies
  • Perform review of inventory status to ensure proper business practices
  • Perform review of inventory status to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Create reporting used to assist other departments in evaluation and application of best practices
  • Audit and report accuracy of the cycle count process through systemic confirmation
  • Maintain inventory balance between EWM and ECC in SAP
  • Reporting emergent issues and concerns to on-site management team for assistance
  • Be an accurate and available resource to perform on-site support for development of operational departments
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position
  • Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity data
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills
  • Prior experience in warehouse environment
  • Prior experience in an administrative role
  • Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s

Qualifications

  • Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • Able to move throughout all areas of the distribution center
  • Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product: 25%
  • Sitting, Desk or phone work: 75%

Starting hourly pay at $16.00 - $20.00/hour (based on experience)
