Warehouse Worker Receiving - 2nd Shift

About the role

The Warehouse Worker, 2nd Shift, is responsible for ensuring all materials and products are properly verified, stored, and recorded. This role involves unloading or loading trucks, receiving incoming shipments, inspecting products, entering data into inventory management systems, and assisting with inventory counts and audits.

Responsibilities

• Unload or load trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment
• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documents
• Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptly
• Enter receiving data into inventory management systems accurately and timely
• Label, tag, and store received items in designated warehouse locations
• Clock in/out and clock in for overtime as required
• Coordinate with purchasing, inventory, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits as needed
• Perform warehousing function of transferring product from packaging to warehouse. Rotates, arranges, and organizes stock. Sorts good/bad pallets for use in factory
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of documentation concerning all aspects of warehousing, receiving, and Inventory Control
• Perform proper picking and loading of intra company D.O.’s
• Receive P.O.’s and run reports
• Support general warehouse and packaging duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three to five years related experience or nine months structured on the job training

• Works near moving mechanical parts and noise levels in the work environment are usually moderate

Pay

The salary range for this position is $31.77 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential.
