Warehouse Clerk - 2nd Shift

About the Role

Keep our communities fed. Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors, and communities. As a Warehouse Clerk, you’ll become a part of this mission by providing administrative support to our transportation team. General office duties related to distribution reporting administration, and shipping/receiving documentation and fulfillment are also part of this position.

Pay

$22.50 per hour

Schedule

2nd shift: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Release routes, print selection labels, and organize by departure and commodity type
• Take store phone calls/orders and assist with add-ons, memos, and outs
• Data entry
• Monitor system information and notify supervisors of needed adjustments
• Customer service
• Prepare store mail for delivery
• Pick up selector scratches and buyer chases, create invoices, attach orders to routes, release and print labels
• Audit inbound receiving, print labels, reconcile and note overages, shorts, and damage, and close out purchase orders
• Assist with special projects as needed

Work Environment

• Warehouse: Grocery Warehouse (50°F to 90°F)
• Office: Office Temperature (65°F to 75°F)

Requirements

• Pallet Jack experience preferred
• Experience in grocery selection preferred
• Ability to work the overnight shift and overtime is required
• At least six months of warehouse experience
