About the role
The Warehouse Clerk reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and handles the receiving, storing and distributing material, equipment, etc. within the warehouse and production floor, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Responsibilities
- Checks in material, matching purchase orders to deliveries, and distributing accordingly.
- Reads customer orders, shipping orders, etc. to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and or shipped.
- Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
- Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
- Ensures warehouse is accessible and safe for all employees and visitors at all times.
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Opens crates and other containers.
- Records amounts of materials received or distributed in PLEX.
- Aids production with PLEX recording.
- Responsible for inventory accuracy.
- PLEX champion: Performs cycle counts.
- Prepares parcels for mailing.
General Responsibilities

Requirements
- High school diploma
- 1 year of experience in warehousing and receiving manufacturing environment
- Prior experience driving a Hilo
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks
- Physical stamina for work in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, chemicals, and temperature changes.
- PPE required
