About the Role
Participate in ensuring the organized and productive flow of warehouse operations in a high-volume distribution center. Duties include loading and unloading trucks, organizing and rotating inventory, monitoring cooler temperatures, cleaning the warehouse, and assisting with inventory reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Move product utilizing material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts
- Unload inbound trucks and store product in warehouse cooler
- Organize and rotate product in warehouse cooler to prevent spoilage
- Assemble and stage product orders for pre-sale and onboard sales routes
- Load delivery vehicles based off route specifications
- Ensure order documentation and product receipt are correctly processed according to policy
- Clean cooler and warehouse to ensure an orderly and safe environment
- Help research questions and resolve any discrepancies during monthly CEDI (warehouse) inventory reconciliation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- Fluent in Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in English
- Experience and certification with materials handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts
- Experience in food products
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand for a full shift of at least 8 hours
- Able to climb up/down, in/out of truck body
- Can repeatedly lift and move 30-pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck
- Can repeatedly turn, twist, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push, or pull to move 30 pounds
- Able to repeatedly move a 75-pound load on a cart/hand-truck without assistance
Work Environment
Able to work in a cold environment of approximately 34°F for prolonged periods of time.
