Warehouse Associate/Truck Driver

About the role

Rexel USA is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Driver to join the Mayer team in Harrisburg, PA. The role combines warehouse operations with driving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a safe work environment
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety rules
• Verify quantities and descriptions of materials received
• Stock incoming orders and prepare branch orders
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and wire cutting machines
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring correct and undamaged materials
• Perform inventory counts and maintain equipment
• Operate delivery vehicles to make deliveries
• Inspect and maintain company vehicles
• Handle material returns from customers
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery
• Complete necessary documentation at the time of delivery
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• No prior experience required
• Prior warehouse experience a plus
• Certification to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment preferred
• Valid driver's license
• At least 21 years old
• Pre-employment and annual motor vehicle record checks
• Verification of non-expired medical certificate within 30 days of hire
• No suspended driver's license for traffic violations in the past 3 years
• No at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
• High School or GED
• General knowledge of electrical products a plus
• Basic computer knowledge
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to handle basic issues and problems
• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, and safety procedures
