Warehouse Associate - Replenishment and Putaway

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurately relocating inventory from the Receiving dock to either open-air reserve locations or active pick locations
• Using a pallet jack to perform putaway tasks in multi-level pick modules
• Utilizing handheld devices to receive replenishment and putaway tasks
• Maintaining inventory accuracy throughout the Distribution Center

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating a Reach Truck and Order Picker (Cherry Picker)
• Versatility within the department, encompassing various tasks such as utilizing equipment and performing RPA duties by foot
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in utilizing radio communication
• Experience working in a highly automated distribution environment
• Knowledge of various distribution systems such as warehouse management system, radio frequency devices and voice picking
• Ability to work within and exemplify The Container Store brand
• Ability to stand 100% of the time and walk approximately 50% of the time with the ability to lift up to 47 pounds independently
