About the role

The Warehouse Replenishment Associate is responsible for moving and locating incoming components from Permobil suppliers into the warehouse. This role operates a variety of powered industrial trucks and works closely with the Production, Warehouse, and Receiving Supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Moves and locates incoming components from Permobil suppliers into the warehouse using tools such as bar-code scanners and personal computers.
  • Ensures incoming components are placed into designated locations in the warehouse and specifies those locations to the warehouse tracking system.
  • Operates a swing reach, sit down forklift, and cherry picker as needed.
  • Works closely with the Production, Warehouse, and Receiving Supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicates non-conformances to operators, Supervisors, and Managers.
  • Partners with Assembly, Incoming Inspection, and Warehouse teams to understand material readiness for movement to the warehouse.
  • Adheres to all safety practices and company policies.
  • Physically and visually inspects components for proper labeling and identification.
  • Operates proficiently powered industrial trucks (e.g., swing reach, sit down forklift & cherry picker).
  • Be a liaison between warehouse and other staff.
  • Flex into other warehouse, picking, receiving, and counting roles as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards, regulatory compliance, and company policies.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality capability of Assembly operations.
  • Highlight cross-functional collaboration and ownership.
  • Emphasize continuous improvement and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years forklift experience required.
  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience desired.
  • Working knowledge of the warehouse management system and warehouse locations.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
