Warehouse Associate - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Unload and break down freight (e.g. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
• Sort and organize freight
• Operate various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Identify unusable pallets
• Basic ability to read, count, and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Remove items from sorting bins, scan, and place onto conveyer belt
• Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list, and bag items
• Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures (e.g. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintain work area in a clean and hazard-free condition

Requirements

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (e.g. electric pallet jack)
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned

Pay

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on productivity)

Schedule

Weekend Day Shift: Saturday to Monday, 6:00 AM start time – until complete
