Warehouse Associate - Internet Shipper

Responsibilities

• Weigh and package products accurately.
• Create shipping labels using multiple software platforms.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Meet minimum daily shipping output expectations.
• Comply with all quality standards and policies.
• Assemble cardboard containers for shipping.
• Properly fill containers with void fill to protect product.
• Examine shipments to ensure shipment specifications are met.
• Aid in store/warehouse tasks as assigned.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read product identification quickly and accurately.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, professional and diplomatic.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to meet assigned deadlines.
• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving objects.
• Regularly stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and sit.
• Occasionally climb ladders and stairs or balance.
• May be exposed to environmental conditions.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Able to work well under pressure.
• Open availability, flexible schedule, and ability to work overtime.
• One to two years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Previous internet shipping experience a plus.
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.
• Basic computer skills.
