Warehouse Associate II
About the role
HMH is seeking a Warehouseperson II-E/Equipment Operator to join our team at Geneva, IL. This position is responsible for accurately performing warehouse activities related to the receiving, storing, and shipping of product while maintaining company standards of safety, security, quality, and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Regularly perform tasks such as receiving, storing, and shipping products using powered material handling equipment, radio frequency devices, or computers.
- Maintain high standards of safety, security, quality, and productivity in all warehouse activities.
- Work independently and in a team environment, following standardized procedures and instructions.
- Lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold).
- Work from variable heights while wearing a safety harness.
Requirements
- Regular Schedule Shift: 7am – 3:30pm
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- Able to work well independently and in a team environment
- Able to follow standardized procedures, verbal, and written instructions
- Able to read, count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly
- Able to work overtime and be very dependable
- Able to follow strict safety guidelines and company standards
Qualifications
- High School/GED graduate equivalency required
- 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Familiarity with material handling and radio frequency equipment is beneficial

Pay
$38,480 (paid hourly)
Schedule
