WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE I

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Requires 1 year experience with warehouse management systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, detailed correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write detailed correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to calculate and interpret financial measures such as percentages, margins, ratios and other comparative statistics.
• Must be able to interpret graphs and other visual representations used to present data.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to read and understand various service manuals, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.

Position Objectives

• Manages the allocation, routing, tracing and distribution of materials via the delegation of responsibility and authority.
• Plans, directs, and oversees the activities pertaining to all warehouse operations including receiving, distribution, order picking, packing and shipping of materials.
• PARTNERS WITH MANUFACTURING, SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ASSURE PRODUCTION SCHEDULES AND COMMITMENTS TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS ARE CONSISTENTLY MET.
